Most birdhouses sold in North America are decorative objects that happen to be shaped like shelter. They carry oversized entrance holes that admit starlings, decorative perches that hand predators a grip, no drainage, no ventilation and no way to open them for cleaning. Birds nest in them anyway, and broods fail.
Perch Supply exists to stock the other kind: housing, feeding and hardware chosen against nest-trail data and published with the numbers attached. If a box is wrong for a species, our guides say so plainly instead of selling you one.
